My third graders are bright, curious, and full of heart. Growing up in a rural community means they don't always have access to the same resources or opportunities as students in larger districts, but they show incredible determination every day. They come to school eager to learn, to try, and support one another. They thrive during hands-on learning, love sharing their ideas, and take pride in becoming stronger readers, writers, and thinkers. Many come from low-income households, and our classroom is a place where they feel safe, encouraged, and proud of what they can accomplish. They inspire me to keep growing as an educator so I can give them the strongest instruction and widest opportunities possible.
