In my classroom, I push students to become hard workers, strong thinkers, and respectful young adults. We work on reading, writing, math, AVID strategies, collaboration, and real-world problem solving, but we also build character every day. I want my students to learn how to be respectful, caring, aware, responsible, and confident. I believe students learn best when the classroom has structure, humor, high expectations, and heart. My goal is to help them grow academically while also becoming the kind of people who can work hard, support others, and be proud of who they are becoming.
