There are 12 girls and 10 boys in this 1st grade classroom. I had the privilege of teaching 10 of these students last year in Kindergarten. This is my 16th year teaching and I must say, this is a dream class. They are amazing! The students learning styles and abilities are very diverse but they are eager to learn and always try to do their best. Our school is rural with predominately low-income to middle class families. There are approximately 500 students at our Pre-K to 5th grade elementary school. We have a very supportive and active parent-teacher association.
