Our students are amazing, resilient middle school learners in grades 5–8 who bring unique strengths, personalities, and perspectives into our classroom every day. They learn in different ways and at different paces, but they all share a desire to grow, succeed, and feel confident in their abilities. Many of our students receive Special Education services and benefit from individualized instruction, visual supports, hands-on learning, and positive encouragement. Some are developing foundational reading and math skills, while others are strengthening communication, organization, social-emotional, and executive functioning skills. Every accomplishment, whether mastering a new concept, participating in class discussions, or gaining confidence to tackle a challenging task, is a meaningful victory worth celebrating. They inspire me daily with their determination.

About my class
