My elementary students are awesome, creative, and eager! They get really excited about art class and over time I'm hoping to make the art room a special and professional place for them to practice their skills. They are interested in all kinds of things from drawing fanart of their favorite characters to making puppets to building paper sculptures as well as ceramic work. My middle school students are ready for a challenge. They are skilled or still learning, but all are itching to be trusted with the responsibility of quality materials and an opportunity to show how they can embody the "adult" part of young adult.
