To help my students better understand how we can use renewable resources in a fun and engaging way that will impact our future. The K'NEX Renewable Energy kits will give my students a chance to create realistic models and allow students to compare and contrast the power and efficiency of three different energy sources. My students will get an opportunity to see how solar, wind and hydro power function and can be used in our daily lives. By the end of this project, I would like my students to realize that being renewable energy is not fad, it is here for life. It is a way to protect our environment by using the energy that the earth provides naturally.
