Our high school has a diverse population of students from various backgrounds. Unfortunately many of our students have experienced personal and financial hardships over the past few years, due to the declining economy and vast unemployment in our area. For many students, this course provides an opportunity to experience an upper-level science class setting, and inspires many students to further their education after high school in the medical and health care fields.
