My cosmetology classroom is designed to provide high school students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training in a professional salon-like environment. The classroom includes instructional areas equipped with desks, audiovisual teaching tools, mannequins, styling stations, shampoo bowls, and sanitation supplies to support student learning and skill development. Students receive instruction in subjects including hair design, haircutting, hairstyling, haircolor, chemical texture services, nail technology, skincare, infection control, professional image, communication skills, and state board laws and regulations. The classroom environment promotes safety, sanitation, professionalism, creativity, and technical skill mastery while preparing students for state licensure and successful careers in the beauty industry.
