The students I work with are bright, creative, and have so much potential if given the right resources. I teach in a school in the Bronx, and there are so many things that can keep students off track - violence, drugs, and problems at home resulting in being in the foster care system, etc.. In addition to dealing with so many problems, the students that I work with have learning disabilities. Without the right resources, these students cannot learn effectively and become lost in the system. Yet, my students come to class ready to learn, enthusiastic, and energetic. I want to give them the very best and need your help to do that.
