The students are starting a coffee shop, which they will primarily be managing and operating on their own. The cart and supplies to get started have been purchased and the business is nearing an opening, however, a POS system (iPad with Square) which is used in traditional small businesses, is needed, as well as, a printer. With an iPad and printer, students will learn to monitor and manage sales, monitor trends and revenues, manage inventory, and etc. This student-led business will provide valuable work experience for students so they can further develop social and emotional skills and life skills needed for college and career readiness.

About my class
