My students need technological devices to raise the level of learning to present, reenact and and create video representations of what they are learning. They need to use the GoPro cameras to record themselves reenacting the literature and the Apple Tv with laptop to broadcast to present to the entire class.
My Students:
Despite being from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds, I feel my students deserve an education that challenges them and engages their learning of the academic content that they are required to know in order to pass the AP Spanish Literature Exam. Our school population consists of 99% Latino and 1% African-American. Regardless of this, students lack the Spanish language knowledge.
The fact that the majority of Latinos present in our school culture needs to be celebrated, by empowering students to create presentations that connect their culture and the literature being taught in class. This empowerment will benefit the students in accepting their cultural background and want to succeed in school and beyond.
