Our school has one of the district's premiere magnet programs. Students attend science lab every day through a 4-class rotation system. Our population is unique in that 50% of the students are bussed in from across the city and the other 50% are from our local neighborhood. We are a safe haven in a socio-economically disadvantaged neighborhood; that is often riddled with violence, a strong gang presence, and police activity. That said, our children rise to the occasion of excelling in the academic arena.

About my class
