These classroom supplies will increase the students' classroom engagement. They will be able to have a hands-on experience. When reading, students will be able to paint images. When telling time, students will be able to physically show the analog time. The materials that I am requesting will mostly be used in the classroom, however my classroom policy is that students can always take home materials for further learning. Due to the Covid - 19 pandemic, students are out of the classroom quite often, so being able to have manipulatives and supplies at their disposable at home would enhance their distance learning experience. Additionally, having a laptop will allow me to create lesson plans, communicate remotely with staff and families, and allow me to participate in parent conferences, zoom meetings, and distance learning.
