My students range from 1st to 5th grade, and our classroom is truly a family. They face challenges like sensory processing difficulties, behavioral struggles, and communication barriers, which can make school overwhelming. But in our room, no one faces these obstacles alone. We support each other with patience, understanding, and creative solutions—using sensory tools and calming strategies to help students regain confidence and control. Recently, during PE, a 2nd grader became overwhelmed by the noise and activity. A 3rd grader passed over a fidget and quietly sat beside them, offering comfort and reassurance until they felt safe again. Our classroom is a safe space where every child is valued, every voice is heard, and together we overcome challenges and grow stronger each day
