I teach a wonderful group of bilingual second graders in a low-income community. Many of my students have special needs, and all of them bring unique strengths, bright curiosity, and an incredible amount of energy to our classroom. We are truly a family—supporting one another, celebrating small victories, and working through challenges together. My students come to school eager to learn, even when resources are limited. They deserve materials and experiences that match their enthusiasm and help them reach their full potential.
