My students are from a Title 1 urban public school. Many of my students are bilingual and their families are relatively new to the United States. They are hardworking and curious. During the school year, my students love to conduct field work for science. We visit beaches, harbor islands, and even conduct research in our outdoor classroom. My students write plays and act them out for their parents and friends. They love to read and write with a purpose.
