We have two laboratory classrooms, but only one complete set of laboratory personal protective equipment. Laboratory safety goggles and plastic, disposable safety aprons allow us to double the number of students doing lab activities during the same class period. The Alconox detergent is the chemical industry recommended brand for washing laboratory glassware to remove potentially harmful residues or any other contaminants. Every year, we have added to the number and types of science labs our students do, so more safety supplies helps us double the number of students simultaneously being protected.
