"GOTCHA!" is what I want to say whenever my students are caught reading, writing, sharing, helping, and exhibiting random acts of kindness throughout the day. I teach third grade students in a low socioeconomic community at a public school. The majority of my students are from single family homes, which puts a strain on their ability to experience multiple opportunities. More than 75% of our students receive free or reduced lunch.
