Hands on Learning is the best way to engage young learning into Mathematical Thinking. In fact, it is a process of doing mathematics where students become active participants in the classroom that hands-on learning approach involves the child in a total learning experience which enhances the child’s ability to think critically. I am requesting resources from Teachers Pay Teachers, hands on Math activities, Magna Tiles and Base Ten Blocks my students will use to practice and to enhance their conceptual understanding of Mathematics! A child’s understanding of place value and the base ten system is built upon a broad conceptual framework of number size, number relations, Combine this view of place value and base ten understanding with hands on mathematical instruction and manipulatives and we have created a Mathematical Thinker!
