I teach in a title 1 school where the entire population is on free lunch. We have a high population of ELL students as well. They are hard working students who come from low-income families. Their families want them to succeed at school, but can't always provide the materials needed to help their child be successful. With no budget for the classroom, donations have been asked from parents. Unfortunately, donations have been minimal for the start of our school year. Parents are doing everything they can to support their child. But it is difficult times.

About my class
