My students are bright, compassionate, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique stories, strengths, and challenges to our school community. Many balance rigorous academics, after-school jobs, and family responsibilities while navigating stress, anxiety, or personal hardships. Despite these obstacles, they show incredible resilience, empathy, and a desire to grow — not just academically, but emotionally. They are the reason I want to create a Wellness and Group Session Room: a safe, calming space where they can learn coping skills, build confidence, and be reminded every day that their mental health matters just as much as their education.
