My pre-k students, located in central Harlem, NYC face many obstacles in our low income neighborhood. Absences can be high in our community, often due to health issues related to asthma. My little ones spend a lot of time on our carpet which now is several years old, stained and unhealthy looking. We could really use a new, clean and inspirational, kid-friendly carpet to set off our "morning meetings" and other circle time activities and reduce the dirt and dust the kids are exposed to. We're hoping someone will hear our plea!!
