Our school is dedicated to students. Everything done on campus if for them and about them. We encourage reading and writing in all subject areas, though finding the materials to meet all students is difficult at times. My students are 7th graders from diverse backgrounds. I have seven classes of thirty to thirty-four, with one class being a language arts support class for my below basic performers. I have come to know my students as ones that want to read, but who just do not know what to read, or where to find good books. When I tell them about a good book, they all jump at the opportunity to get the one copy I have.
