Our school is a mini-United Nations. Many are refugees from Asia, as our town is a UN refugee placement site. We have children from almost every continent and we have the largest elementary English language learner population in our district. The picture support in these magazines is especially helpful for these children. We also have the highest percentage of free/reduced lunch eligible children among the elementary schools of our district. It is awesome to have materials that can be sent home with the children to share with family members. I have requested 2 extra copies of TIME for Kids to be laminated and saved in our classroom library.
