This year I have embarked on trying to turn my classroom into a more kid friendly and sensory appropriate space. This means that the traditional tables and chairs are being taken out and replaced with alternative seating. I currently have a table that I would like to replace the chairs with wobble chairs or stools. These wobble stools are great for Kindergarten students because they allow them to sit in a more natural position and move around with out falling out of a chair. It increases their awareness and makes learning more engaging. The kick bands will be placed on chairs for students who like to put their feet on something. These also help with focus for students.
