Many of my students come from loving, two-parent households that are deeply involved in their child’s education — even while facing the daily challenges of living below the poverty line. These families may struggle to provide extra materials or enrichment opportunities at home, but they show up in every way they can: attending conferences, helping with homework, encouraging reading, and celebrating their child’s growth. Their commitment inspires me to do everything I can to support their children in the classroom. With your help, we can ensure that these students have access to the same high-quality resources and learning tools as their peers — giving them a strong, equitable start in their educational journey.
