This project is intended for my eighth grade general music classes. These are the kids who chose not to take band or choir, and typically, they are the students who don't have much interest in music at all (that's why they weren't in band or choir!) Our school is a rural middle school in a large school corporation in Indiana. We have a wide variety of socio-economics in our area, but many locals would classify our particular school as a "farmer" school. Students in these two general music classes are mainly boys, often involved in sports, and act like typical middle school kids do everywhere.
