One of the joys of teaching is pushing students to use drama in ways that are not just interesting, but that benefit society. By providing my students with Chromebooks, we can explore more deeply explore the experiences animals have and how that connects to our existence with them. By using common items to do uncommon things, my students will be able to help develop compassion for animals in our community, and learn how to combine technology with that empathy. These supplies will be used in many innovative ways, including but not limited to, developing programs around the city to find local animals in need but may not be aware of the services offered by both of the local major cities. Students will create unique projects to help create ways to accomplish this task.
