My classroom is more than a place to learn—it is a space where creativity meets opportunity, students become leaders, and ideas turn into meaningful action. At Marvell-Elaine School District, I serve students in a small, rural, high-poverty community where 100% of our students qualify for free meals. Despite limited resources, my students bring unlimited potential, curiosity, determination, and a desire to make a difference. My EAST and library students love exploring technology, coding, robotics, digital design, entrepreneurship, reading, and hands-on projects. What makes our classroom special is that students don't just learn skills—they use those skills to solve real-world problems and serve others. From mentoring younger readers and creating positive messages to supporting community organizations, they are discovering the power of leadership, collaboration, and kindness. I believe our students deserve opportunities that extend beyond their circumstances. Every resource donated helps us remove barriers, inspire innovation, build confidence, and prepare students for bright futures. We may be a small rural school, but our students are developing big ideas and making an even bigger impact!
