My students come from Hispanic, African-American, and White American backgrounds, they bring diverse perspectives and experiences that make our learning community rich and inspiring. Their creativity shines through in every project, performance, and idea they share. Among them are students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities, each bringing their own strengths and ways of learning. While some face behavioral challenges, they continue to grow, learn, and express themselves through music and creativity. We are a Title I school. Despite many challenges, 95% of them qualify for free lunch, they show incredible resilience, passion, and determination every day. My students are a vibrant mix of talent, energy, and creativity. They have a deep love for music and a wonderful sense of humor that fills our classroom with laughter and joy. Their creativity and spirit shine through in everything they do.
