Covid-19 has taken a huge toll on our students. For over a year it robbed them of being in a classroom and now it continues to limit their experiences. Our students used to be able to go out into our community to gain real world experience that prepared them for their careers in healthcare and now they can not even step out of our classroom doors. We had to find a way to foster their passion to continue into healthcare and inspire them so we chose to create a mini hospital and clinic of our own on campus. We have had the support of our administration who provided a room for us and basic supplies would could afford and of our community who have donated hospital beds. Now we just need to fill the room with equipment that each of students will know how to use.
