My students attend a high poverty school in North Carolina. It is Title 1 and resources are limited. It is very difficult for us to get extra hands on materials for the students when we are running out of things such as copy paper, glue, and pencils. I am a teacher that wants to inspire her children and give them the best chance at success in their lives. I believe that games and hands on materials are better then making them just sit and listen to someone talk to them all day. This will be my first year teaching Kindergarten and I am excited to get into a new classroom environment.
