The materials requested will make an enormous difference to my students who will be learning French from home. As they learn to communicate in their new language, they will cut, paste, and color to enhance their vocabulary and writing learning process. The key to this notebook will be the personal nature of its creation. Students will be able to write and draw their core learning and add their own high-frequency vocabulary and expressions to communicate ideas, opinions, and preferences. Another important aspect of the interactive notebook is the chance to stay organized and keep all reference information in one place. The scissors and glue will be used for inserting pages I will generate for them and also to add their own items. The colored pencils will be used to color in vocab pictures. The whiteboards will be used during ZOOM meetings to practice/review and play games with the vocabulary, verbs and expressions they have studied in their notebooks as a formative assessment tool.
