Our school currently has limited resources. The alphabet sound teaching tubs will serve as additional resources to reach multiple students and present learning letter sounds in an engaging way. The alphabet tubs will allow 30 Pre-K and Kindergarten students to learn letter sounds and increase their literacy skills. Literacy is a crucial component to every child's learning and early intervention is the best way to increase reading readiness and keep students on grade level. The use of the sound tubs will allow students to gain skills that will follow them throughout their educational career, as well as in everyday life. Letter sound correspondence is a critical skill to have to begin reading. The tubs will help students achieve this skill and, therefore, get them ready to read!
