My K-5 students are in general education classrooms, but receive support from me for academics and behavior in the resource room. Most of the students that come to me have an IEP (Special Ed) with an eligibility such as: autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, Visual and/or Auditory Processing Disability, as well as others. Often, students are sent to my room to de-escalate behaviors because they require calming activities. There are usually 2 small groups taught at one time, as well as those that are sent in at various times throughout the day.
