Help us "Make Them a Reading Star"! They want to shine bright- they just need our help! I am a Reading Intervention Specialist that needs to serve the high risk student falling behind grade level. We have over 100 students that need reading services. Our student population is mostly African American and face a 98.9% poverty level. The students want to learn and really enjoy coming to school. They do not have reading resources at home and so do most of their reading at our school. Our school is a "family" and we love our students.
