If this project is fully funded, each fourth and fifth-grade classroom will receive two standing desks. Many of our neediest learners will be able to use these desks as an optional modified learning space. Due to the pandemic, many learners are having a hard time focusing on their learning for extended periods of time. Standing desks will provide flexibility in their learning environment, making them more comfortable. Trying to meet all of our scholars' needs is our top priority. Providing students with flexible seating options will help us with that goal.
