My classroom is a diverse and inclusive Pre-K community made up of both general education and special education students. Each child comes with unique strengths, needs, and learning styles. Some of my students are developing skills right on grade level, while others receive additional support in areas like speech, fine motor development, attention, or social skills. What makes our classroom special is how they learn and grow together. My general education students model language, routines, and peer interactions, while my special education students bring incredible resilience, creativity, and determination. They celebrate one another’s successes and learn the value of patience, kindness, and teamwork every day. In our inclusive classroom, hands-on learning is essential. With the right materials and support, every child in our room can participate meaningfully, build confidence, and experience success.
