The students in my school are from low income households, many of which have single parents or extended family members who are working odd hours to support their children. Students move with their families from place to place and school to school many times throughout their school careers. Because families work long hours, students spend long hours at the school, in extended day programs and need lots of support with getting day to day needs met. Despite these challenges, students work hard to achieve their maximum potential in all content areas and are very willing to help their fellow classmates. We have a supportive staff who goes above and beyond to ensure that each and every child is successful. Our community believes strongly in the work that we are doing and are willing to help.
