Social and emotional learning is an integral part of human development. It helps develop healthy identities, manage feelings, be aware of and show empathy for others, and so much more. From bullying to making responsible decisions and feeling empowered, these book titles will be the foundation of the Social-Emotional library I am building at our school. These carefully selected titles will be utilized by teachers to encourage connections among the classroom community and all its members, promote discussions through grand conversations, and provide a framework for reflection and empowering all students.
