The center will allow the children to have a variety of ways to increase their communication skills. The center has a white board and a magnetic board, shelves for books and language activities. The center is on casters so it can easily go from one classroom to the other. I do literature based speech and language therapy. The center will be used to help put up sequencing cards, rhyming cards and vocabulary cards that pertain to each of our lessons. The students will be able to see all of my visuals for the stories with ease. Visuals are very important to children that have communication difficulties. Seeing pictures of vocabulary words help them to learn the words and increase their speech and language skills.
