I have 7 Students ALL in the spectrum, some are non verbal, boys and girls, between 6 and 9 years old. They enjoy singing, dancing and playing with sensory toys. Some of my children are in an early process of decoding, others are learning their names. I have been a teacher for over 15 years, yet this is my 1st year teaching special needs, since I just finished my certification. Every day reshapes the itself and our journey journey in unexpected ways. We all have so much to learn, I am as much their student as they are my students.
