DICK’S and Brooks Running believe that sports make people better. And the data supports it. Kids who are highly involved in sports are more likely to get good grades, go to college, and less apt to get into trouble at school. Sports build character, teach life lessons, and increase confidence.

Unfortunately, today, girls participate in sports less than boys. And their window of play is briefer as girls start to play sports later than boys and drop out earlier.

DICK’S and Brooks Running want to ensure all girls have an opportunity to benefit from the great life skills that sports provide.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we partner together to support girls running programs.
