The Citizen Artists Track at the 2013 Aspen Ideas Festival examines how today’s artists are engaging in civic life, moving beyond traditional settings to provide access for all to engage in and reap the benefits of culture. Citizen artistry can be a powerful force for progress, in realms from healthcare to community development; and in particular, education.
