As a high school English teacher, I am dedicated to the education of the whole person. I believe that through multicultural literature, engaging, personal writing assignments, and a strong, inclusive community, education can transform students to be more compassionate, informed, and hard-working contributors to society. Here at SOCES, my students come from a wide range of backgrounds. Over half of my students come from lower economic status, and almost all students pursue higher education after graduation. As a span school, we have a strong sense of community. Please help me support these students by offering them resources in their educational journeys.
