The students I teach are enthusiastic, curious, and passionate about learning. They crave interesting projects, field trips, good books, atlases, access to technology, and real art supplies. Many of the children I teach here at our Title I school in the center of Chinatown come from hard-working immigrant parents that strongly value education. Although many of my students come from backgrounds of substantial economic hardship, you wouldn't know it by chatting with them. They are full of hope and possibility. I am honored to teach them!
