My student's are surrounded by technology. They are blessed by a world that has many things delivered to them at their fingertips. Yet, we do not have technology or enough age appropriate reading materials in our classrooms. Paper back books are expensive, hurt the environment, take up space that we do not have for storage, are ruined easily, and eventually become outdated. My students get excited when they are able to use any type of technology that I bring in from home. We are hoping to use technology for small differentiated reading and math groups.
