The kids noticed it right away and were super curious about how we were going to use it. It's super sturdy and will last a long time. \r\n\r\n\r\nWe put our big books on the ledge and read the books together. I can keep the books open to a specific page to reference later. The back has compartments where we store the big books, organized by unit. \r\n\r\nOn the bottom front, I was posting anchor charts and posters, but we recently have a new way to use the space. The students move their number magnet to match the appropriate \"feeling\" color along the top. We've been talking about feeling zones: blue, green, yellow, and red. This is a great way for the kids to identify their feelings and it helps me know which kids I need to check in with. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for believing in my project!
