My school library serves a diverse student population at a brand new STEM school. We are in the process of building up our community of readers to encourage curiosity and creativity. Part of our community building includes providing access to books that are part of popular reading programs, i.e. Global Read Aloud and our state's student choice reading award. Another part is creating a space that is truly inviting to students and their families.
