Teach For America and DonorsChoose.org have teamed up to provide a simple way to fulfill needs and foster innovation in our public schools. Here, teachers submit ideas for experiences and materials. YOU can then search projects by areas of interest, learn about classroom needs, and choose to fund the project you find most compelling. The students and teacher will send you photographs and thank you letters for the project you choose to fund.

"Thank you for contributing to my proposal on DonorsChoose.org. As an English teacher, one of the best moments in my day is when I can help students select a book that is "just right" for them, something that is at their reading level and interests them. I love it when students are so excited about a book they are reading that they want to check it out and take it home. Thanks to you, I now have a new collection of high interest books that are sure to provide many more of these moments!
